1. About the Society and its services
The Society is a member-owned co-operative credit society. Its principal activities are receiving deposits from members and providing loans to members. 6. Membership, deposits and loans
- Admission to membership is at the discretion of the Society's managing committee in accordance with its by-laws and requires payment of the prescribed share capital and admission fee.
- Deposits are accepted only from members and are governed by the terms of the specific deposit scheme, the deposit receipt and the Society's by-laws.
- Loans are granted only to members, subject to eligibility, credit assessment, security or guarantee requirements, and the execution of loan documents. The Society reserves the right to accept or reject any loan application without assigning reasons.
- Interest rates, charges, penalties and repayment terms are those specified in the relevant scheme or loan agreement and may be revised by the Society in accordance with its by-laws and applicable law.
- Members are responsible for timely repayment of loans and for keeping their contact and KYC details up to date.
